保護證人組督察許瑋琛（黃宗澤飾）奉命保護受襲的名人喬江河（蔣志光飾），乃是「商場魔術手」喬江山（秦沛飾）的胞弟。江河得罪了一名瀋陽有勢力人士熊飛，招致殺身之禍。​於是警方建議江河接受保護證人組的保護，因此，瑋琛認識了江河的姪女喬子琳（鍾嘉欣飾）。

子琳性格乖僻，對人冷漠，甚至有點不近人情。瑋琛和隊員與子琳接觸初期，都認為子琳是被寵壞的富家千金，對周遭的人和事都不聞不問。然而，瑋琛同時目睹子琳對著父親江山，​有著可愛的另一面，不期然對子琳的性格產生問號。 ...
